Regional Operations Manager

Role:                            Regional Operations Manager

Based:                          North East (Hybrid)

Rate:                           £32-38 per hour (dependent on experience and pay status)

Start Date:                   ASAP – May 2025

Duration:                      Temporary - 3 months ongoing (with the possibility of an extension)

Days:                            Flexible – between 3 – 5 days a week

 

Our client, a National Children’s Charity, is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to oversee the operational management and service development of their Emotional Health and Well-Being Services in the North East.

This is a Hybrid working role overseeing the management of community and school-based well-being services.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the delivery of EWMH practice models for disadvantaged young people and their families that seeks to improve the wellbeing of young people at an individual and systemic level, working in strong collaboration with young people, families, and external stakeholders (including the NHS).

 

These ground-breaking services work hard to improve the emotional and mental health of young people, building resilience and learning from children & young people all the time to ensure the service we provide are reaching their needs and requirements.

 

You will be responsible for the operational management of the service (including management of 2 Service Managers and 6 Practitioners, recruitment and retention, training and development, imbedding policies and procedures etc) and will oversee performance management and service development.

 

You will ensure project teams have the available support and resources, encourage continual collaboration with young people, and external stakeholders and will ensure the highest stands of practice, safeguarding, clinical governance, and contract performance.

 

What are they looking for?

  • Operational Management experience at Senior Services, Area Manager/ Operations Manager level within a similar service/ field (including Mental Health, Emotional Health and Well Being, Children and Young People etc)
  • Experience of collaborating closely with stakeholders, partners and commissioners and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of service development and improvement
