Community Services Manager

Role:                Community Services Manager
Location:          Buckinghamshire
Hours:              37 hours per week
Salary:             £38,600 - £40,400 (dependent on experience)
Start Date:       ASAP
Duration:          Temp to Perm / Permanent
Essential:         Relevant management qualification or equivalent experience

Our client is a specialist organisation supporting women and children impacted by domestic abuse. They deliver a wide range of refuge, outreach, and community-based services to ensure those experiencing abuse receive safe, empowering, and high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the delivery of outreach and community services, ensuring high-quality survivor-centred practice
• Line manage and supervise a multi-disciplinary team of IDVAs, Caseworkers, Youth Workers, and Counsellors
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, governance, and contractual requirements
• Monitor and evaluate service performance, preparing reports for commissioners and funders
• Drive service innovation and improvement in line with best practice
• Represent the organisation at multi-agency forums and commissioning meetings
• Develop and maintain partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector services
• Lead on recruitment, induction, and professional development of staff

Requirements:
• Significant experience in managing domestic abuse, VAWG, or related support services
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, MARAC, and multi-agency working
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and reporting requirements
• Skilled in monitoring, evaluation, and strategy development
• Excellent communication, influencing and partnership-building skills
• DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service
• Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle would be advantageous
