Role: Outreach Worker (Adults)

Based: Various Locations (Hart & Rushmoor, Havant, Southampton)

Rate: £25,750 - £26,383 per annum

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Full Time (37 hours)

Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity, is looking to recruit an Outreach Worker and Home Safety Worker to join their team.

Synopsis of duties:

Helping prevent domestic abuse by providing support, advice and assistance to adults in the community who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.
To provide safety planning, support, advice, and assistance to adults in the community supporting them to keep safe in and maintain their current or new accommodation.
The post-holder will work to empower and support all victims and survivors of domestic abuse to make positive choices.
To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours on a rota basis.

Essential Requirements:

Experience working with victims of domestic abuse
Experience delivering community-based support.
Areness of legal and housing issues affected by families escaping domestic abuse
Must have a driving license and access to a car
