Domestic Abuse Caseworker

Role:                    Domestic Abuse Caseworker

Location:             Stoke-on-Trent or Stafford
Hours:                 3 days per week or full-time 
Contract:             Temporary (until March 2026)
Rate:                   £13 - 18 phr (dependent on pay status)
Hybrid Working: Potentially available after an initial on-site period

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Caseworker to join an integrated Domestic Abuse support service. This role focuses on working with victims of domestic abuse whose partners are participating in a programme to help change their behaviour.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of victims of domestic abuse
  • Provide initial contact, ongoing support, and tailored risk and needs assessments
  • Complete DASH RIC assessments and attend MARAC meetings
  • Work collaboratively within an integrated service supporting both victims and perpetrators
  • Engage in effective multi-agency working to ensure victim safety and positive outcomes

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse
  • Experience carrying a caseload
  • Familiarity with DASH RIC assessments and MARAC (preferable)
  • Experience of multi-agency working
