Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker.

Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker 

Location:                4 days from home, 1 day in Slough
Contract Type:       Temporary (2 - 3 Months)
Salary:                    £14.00 - £18.00 per hour (dependent on pay status)
Hours:                    Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Start Date:              ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 25–30 low-risk clients.
  • Complete DASH risk assessments.
  • Deliver interventions and ongoing support to service users.
  • Provide support with court-related matters where required.
  • Make referrals for housing and other support services.
  • Signpost clients to appropriate external agencies and resources.
  • Attend Child Protection Plan (CPP) meetings.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings when required.
  • No MARAC involvement.
  • Minimal travel required.

Essential Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience working within Domestic Abuse services.
  • Ability to effectively manage a busy caseload.
  • Strong organisational skills, including confident use of diaries and calendars.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond to emails promptly and professionally.
  • Available to start immediately.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or dated within the last 12 months.
