Domestic Abuse Case Manager

Supporting Futures are recruiting for a Case Manager to join a specialist domestic abuse service working with individuals who present with complex needs, multiple disadvantage and high levels of risk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong case management and behaviour change experience who is confident working autonomously with complex individuals in community settings.

You do not necessarily need to come directly from a domestic abuse background. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience within domestic abuse, probation, criminal justice, mental health, substance misuse, homelessness, complex needs or similar services.

The Role

As a Case Manager, you will work directly with individuals to address behaviours, reduce risk and support positive and sustainable change.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of individuals presenting with complex needs, multiple disadvantage and high levels of risk

  • Delivering structured one-to-one behaviour change interventions

  • Supporting individuals to recognise and address harmful behaviours

  • Completing risk and needs assessments and responding appropriately to changes in risk

  • Developing and reviewing individual support and intervention plans

  • Maintaining accurate and timely case records and managing associated administration

  • Working autonomously across community settings

  • Working closely with statutory and voluntary sector partners

  • Contributing to coordinated multi-agency approaches to risk and safeguarding

  • Supporting positive outcomes while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and accountability

About You

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in several of the following areas:

  • Domestic abuse or perpetrator-focused services

  • Complex needs and multiple disadvantage

  • Working with high-risk individuals or repeat offenders

  • Behaviour change interventions, either one-to-one or within group settings

  • Mental health, substance misuse, homelessness or other complex-needs services

  • Probation, criminal justice or offending services

  • Risk assessment and risk management

  • Managing an individual caseload

  • Multi-agency working

  • Maintaining accurate case records and managing administrative responsibilities

Experience delivering domestic abuse-focused behaviour change programmes would be advantageous, but is not essential. Candidates with strong transferable behaviour change experience from other settings are very much encouraged to apply.

You will need to be organised, proactive and confident managing your own workload, with the ability to build effective professional relationships while maintaining a clear focus on risk, accountability and positive behavioural change.

Working Arrangements

  • Permanent position

  • 4 days working from home

  • Office-based every Wednesday

  • Community work across Oxfordshire and Berkshire

  • A high level of autonomy in managing your caseload and diary
