Domestic Abuse Case Manager

Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & East Oxfordshire
Starting at £28,500
Hybrid Working | Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced case manager ready to make a genuine difference by tackling domestic abuse at its source?

We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a specialist team delivering an innovative, nationally recognised programme that works with high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. The aim is simple but powerful: reduce harm, improve safety for victims and children, and create lasting behavioural change.

This role offers the opportunity to gain a respected specialist qualification in perpetrator interventions, with your salary increasing from £28,500 to £30,000 upon successful completion within your first 12 months.

Why This Role?

This is not a desk-based position.

You'll work directly with individuals whose behaviour places others at risk, helping them recognise the impact of their actions, take accountability and make meaningful changes that improve outcomes for families and communities.

You'll become part of a multi-agency approach, working alongside domestic abuse professionals, safeguarding teams, criminal justice partners and specialist support services to reduce risk and increase safety.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a caseload of high-risk domestic abuse perpetrators
  • Delivering one-to-one psychosocial interventions focused on behaviour change
  • Building engagement with individuals who may be resistant to support
  • Assessing risk and contributing to robust safeguarding processes
  • Working closely with IDVAs and partner agencies to improve outcomes for victims and children
  • Developing coordinated intervention plans that address risk, need and accountability
  • Maintaining accurate records and case management systems
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and professional forums

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from professionals with strong case management experience who are passionate about supporting change and reducing harm.

You may currently work in:

  • Domestic abuse services
  • Probation or offender rehabilitation
  • Criminal justice
  • Mental health services
  • Substance misuse services
  • Complex needs support
  • Community safety or safeguarding services

You'll need:

  • Proven case management experience
  • Experience working with individuals presenting complex or multiple needs
  • Strong risk assessment and safeguarding skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Access to your own vehicle for work purposes

If you're looking for a role where you can challenge harmful behaviours, promote accountability and contribute to safer futures for victims, children and families, we'd love to hear from you.
