Based: Leicestershire
Rate: £31,200 - £31,800 (dependent upon relevant qualification)
Qualifications: Recognised Accredited ISVA Qualification +/or ISVA Managers Training is highly desirable

Duration: Fixed Term – March 2025
Our client, a charity that provides support to victims of sexual abuse, is looking to recruit an Service Manager to join their established team of specialists.
Synopsis of duties:
- Working alongside the existing Specialist SV Services Manager, to provide line management support to a team of specialist Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVA & CHISVA) – Approximately 7-8 direct reports
- Ensure that there is a consistent delivery of services to survivors in line with accreditation standards, including risk assessment, safety planning and referrals to other agencies such as IDVA for high-risk victims of domestic abuse.
- Provide line and case management support to the team
- Oversee allocation of cases; ensuring cases that meet high-risk thresholds and victims under 18 are prioritised and processed appropriately by the CHISVA service
- Lead in crisis situations and provide advice and guidance on child protection issues and information sharing concerns
- Partnership development, engagement and working
- Represent the service at operational multi-agency meetings including the R2SV, feeding back initiatives and outcomes to the team and contribute to the evaluation of the quality of activities the services offer
Essential Requirements:
- An honours degree or equivalent qualification (or alternatively substantial relevant experience of working with a vulnerable client group including victims of sexual violence and domestic abuse). Completion of accredited ISVA training +/or ISVA Managers Training would be desirable
- Experience of working in a management role, preferably having managed teams supporting vulnerable clients, victims of violence/ abuse
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of child protection, safeguarding, safety planning, risk assessments, Criminal and Civil Justice Systems
- You will be a skilled communicator and collaborator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to manage a range of staff with varied skill sets delivering a variety of services, able to motivate and encourage teams in a professional and positive manner
- Ability to use IT to support both scrutiny and delivery of work, including using new systems
- Strong crisis management skills
