Based: Birmingham – Hybrid Working
Rate: £35-43k per annum
Hours: Full Time

Our client, a specialist provider supporting survivors of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their Senior Management Team. This is a Hybrid role that will require 2-3 days in the office per week.
Synopsis of duties:
- Responsible for the pro-active management of suppliers providing accommodation and other support services to adult victims of modern slavery, and their dependants, providing the Senior Management Team with performance metrics and analysis when required
- Responsible for 3 direct reports
- Manage the performance of all direct reports to ensure that all individual and team objectives are met in accordance with operational plans, agreed service level agreements and key performance indicators
- Develop and manage operational plans to successfully deliver the expansion of services through the supply chain, ensuring accurate and reliable forecasting of requirements to keep pace with demand
- Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with all relevant suppliers to ensure services are delivered as required, including visiting suppliers wherever necessary to ensure the Prime Contractor has first-hand knowledge of services being delivered
- Management of Compliance
- Be responsible for acquiring and maintaining up to date and full knowledge of all the supply chain’s obligations regarding contractual and policy requirements, specifically relating to provision of services, under the Victim Care Contract
- Work with suppliers to develop and deliver best practice in accordance with a comprehensive range of ISO Standards
Essential Requirements:
- Strong management and leadership skills, ideally within a similar service
- Significant experience at a similar level within a supply chain environment
- The ability to think critically and a solution focussed individual with demonstrable ability to impact and influence performance and outcomes
- Proven background and experience in operational change management and delivering business improvement outcomes
- Experience of successfully working with senior managers on fast paced services with an ability to negotiate and achieve best practice outcomes
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing large contracts with third party suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; combined with interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly develop strong, successful and collaborative working relationships at all levels of seniority within an organisation
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, effective time management and the ability to manage competing priorities to respond to tight deadlines
- Strong data management and IT skills with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database systems
- Able to travel to meet with suppliers face to face
Desirable Requirements:
- A certified qualification in supply chain management
- Previous experience of working in a sector supporting vulnerable service users
