Rate: £1,697.19 - £34,345 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours (9am – 5pm Mon – Fri)
Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity based in the Black Country are looking for a Regional Sexual Violence Services Manager to join their team.
Synopsis of duties:
- Ensuring effective communication across all services and ensure that the service manager is informed at all times of any issues that impact effective service delivery
- Ensuring the service is promoted across the region informing and raising awareness of access to BCWA RSV service
- Ensuring that referrals into service has an effective system of receiving and contacting the victim in a timely and sensitive manner
- Ensuring that support is delivered by the ISVA’s and CHISVA is line with Lime Culture standards and the remit of the ISVA/ CHISVA (including risk and needs assessments, assessment of criminal justice partner involvement, practical and emotional needs
- Working with the Director of Community to prepare the service for an annual assessment to maintain the external accreditations and service reviews
- Ensuring that ISVA’s/ CHISVA’s provide advice and support when reporting RSV to the police/ courts overseeing the support, case notes and reports, liaison with solicitors, police and courts as appropriate
- Ensuring that the team deliver an effective support service that maintains professional boundaries and conduct to a high standard and that the team are mindful of their values and attitudes, behaviours and language
- Representing the service internally and externally at relevant strategic and operational partnerships sharing relevant information and expertise
- Ensuring that the team adhere to all policies and procedures facilitating training where necessary to keep them up to date and relevant
- Ensuring that there are effective mechanisms for collating client feedback and evaluations as well as client thoughts and views on shaping and influencing the service delivery
- Monitoring all safeguarding concerns and audit actions for assurance and compliance
- Ensuring that the team have management support via supervision, team meetings, advice and guidance, and general support
- Ensuring that the team meet compliance requirements such as annual training requirements/ updates, information updates
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders/ partners strengthening the relationship between BCWA and the partner e.g. shaping pathways, information sharing, co working with other agencies.
- Through the Director of Community Service providing and presenting reports for internal and external use e.g. Trustee board meetings, commissioner or contract meetings
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to minimum Level 3 or equivalent
- Vast experience working within a needs lead service that supports victims of domestic abuse/sexual violence
- Line management experience
- Has a strong understanding of relevant legislation
- Has a driving licence and access to a car
